Hospital, she was tested for free and was told to buy the glasses but she did not have money.
One day, she had 5000 Kwacha (about $8.00) and she went back to the hospital to buy the
glasses. She was told that the money was not enough to buy the glasses. While there, she met
her friend who told her that she might be helped if she can visit Good Hope Ministries. The
woman came to the office this month and she produced a prescription that she was given by the
doctors at the hospital. When I checked in the prescription, a pair of glasses was found in our
database and asked her to try them on. Upon putting on the glasses, the woman shouted and
jumped up and down. She praised God that she was now able to see objects even far from
where she stood. Those who were in the sewing class (next room over) were astonished
because they thought the woman was going mad. She went on to tell them that "I am not mad! I
never knew my sight would be restored. I can see how great my God is today. I really
appreciate what GHM has done to my life. May God bless those that are donating these glasses
to help poor people like me who cannot afford to buy them from the shops!" said Nyakaunda.

disant que « Je ne suis pas folle! Je n’ai jamais su que ma vue serait restaurée. Je peux voir à quel
point mon Dieu est grand aujourd’hui. J’apprécie vraiment ce que GHM a fait à ma vie. Que Dieu
bénisse ceux qui font don de ces lunettes pour aider les pauvres comme moi qui ne peuvent pas se
permettre de les acheter dans les magasins! » a déclaré Nyakaunda.
