The Edmonton Host Lions Club recycles used eyeglasses.

Donated eyeglasses are sorted and refurbished and sent to third world countries for distribution free of charge.

There are drop boxes for eyeglasses at several places in Edmonton – Walmart Optical locations, Hakim locations, FYiDoctors, Central Lions Seniors Centre, St. Johns Cultural Centre and others.
